Does a  4 g dosage of Ceramizer® provide for efficient regeneration of an engine, a rear axle or a gearbox?

Dosage is perfectly and carefully selected and composedfor tailor -made  regeneration of a particular fiction area such as  in the  engine:tubes, rings,  camshafts,  oil pump parts or in the  gear box: bearings, cogs.. Small concentrated dosage (4 g) of ouradditive does not  result in oil level increase in any mechanism thus it does not change its properties and parametres. Ceramizers® are not oil densifiers.

Why motor oil manufacturers do not sell the oil with Ceramizers®?

Main reasons:

  • Not every user is willing to apply  oil with Ceramizer® –namely to follow instructions regarding driving at low revelation speed of an engine within 200 km. 
  • Other reason is  a very common issue.  Car manufacturers or other OEM- producers of other devices more often than not  do not make durable products, although it is technologically possible. The durability of effects after use of Ceramizer is not in line with the desired fequency of oil changes of various producers. Besides, it is not in the interest of oil manufacturers to sell it with Ceramizer® as after application of our  additive, the  oil consumption may decrease and intra-service periods may be prolonged.

In which cases can I expect that the positive results follow after application of Ceramizer®?

Application of Ceramizer® results in increase and leveling of compression pressure on cylinders and indirectly reduces the oil consumption if it is caused by normal wear and tear of frcition surfaces caused by casual exploitation of the vehicle. Ceramizer® works on metal to metal friction pairs in the engine or other mechanism and will not work on other friction pairs – such as rubber -metal in the case of valve sealers.

How this additive's performance may be compared to other products like Militec, Xeramic or Motor-Life? Are these products similar regarding how they work? Can I apply Ceramizer® and what operations shall I carry out if previously other additive had been applied?

The products listed above (Xeramic or Motor-Life) are by no means equivalent to our products. Our additive  acts in areas subjected to friction – on an area a ceramic-metal layer is being formed. This way it provides for regeneration of metal tometal friction areas by restoring their near nominal geometry. Ceramizers® are not thickeners of  oil or “motodoctors” (one dosage is only approx  4 g) and effects due to application of Ceramizer® will maintain after change of the oil (in case of an engine within up to 70 000 km mileage). Application of Ceramizer® will be quicker and  more effective if previously no other additives and formulas were used that result in forming of anti-friction layers.

There are a lot of available oil and fuel additives and formulas on the market and via the Internet. How to select the proper one?

While selecting the product it is very important to consider the following aspects:

  • amount of an additive- the more volume of an additive the more probable that it is  an oil thickener (“snake oil”);
  • number of reliable tests and analyses attesting the efficiency of an additive;
  • number of positive and reliable testimonials of users;
  • application and experiences of this product in motor sport;
  • product should  be free from Teflon (PTFE).

Does application of Ceramizer® result in positive effects if large oil consumption  (1 liter per 1 000km)is due to  valve sealers and piston rings (16 v. engine) . Does application of an additive may in this case  decrease  oil consumption?

A ceramic-metal layer formed during action of an additive enhances tightness of rings and the tube, but in case of valve sealers (valve guides) it is quite a different  story- as there, the layer is not formed (no metal against metal friction). Sealers ought to  be replaced and tightness  of rings and  cylinder pair depends on wear and tear of rings. Besides ,mostly oil deficiency (except of the above mentioned sealers' case ) follows due to damage or significant wear and tear of  rings –they are of a special construction and in such case o it is necessary to replace the cooperating parts (rings,  piston, cylinder).

Does application of Ceramizers® result in negative effects for major engine repair (polishing etc.)? Does Ceramizer® additive cause clogging of  oil channels?

Application of Ceramizer® does not result in any negative effects, including technological aspects, so cylinder polishing is possible.The Diameter of Ceramizer® particles is smaller than that of filter mesh so there is no possibility of clogging the oil channels.

What makes Ceramizers® better than Teflon formulas?

Teflon layers are mainly polymers (plastic) that besides a low friction ratio do not provide for anything else. They are not resistant to thermal conditions in the engine and after some time chains of polymers break to form other materials, whose particles settle down in oil channels which results in damages of the mechanism. The company that launched these products on the market does not recognize this kind of  product anymore Application of Teflon poses no risk only for not heavily overloaded gearshifts. Ceramizers® according to the meaning of its name forms a ceramic-metal layer of unusual strength and resistance to temperature and friction. Furthermore, such laywers are characterized by very low friction ratio (layer is 10 times stronger than steel and friction ratio is 8 times lower than metal-against metal pairs). Durability of ceramic-metal layer corresponds to that of  coaled surfaces and lasts  for a  distance of 70 000km.. Besides Ceramizers® additionally contain ingredients (GP parts) that enhanceme theoil's physical properties in scope of its adhesion to metal surfaces what is  the so called “magnetization of  oil”

Can this additive be applied into Diesel, TDI, GDI engines or engines with gas installation?

Ceramizer® may be applied into all these engines with no exceptions.

Questions about application in engines

Will Ceramizer® help with engine blowby or with oil overconsumpton?

Generally it depends on the root cause of the blowby or/and oil overburn. Oil consumption of over 1L/1000 km is usually not caused by casual exploitation of the vehicle.Firstly we need to correctly diagnose the engine. One of the reasons of such extreme situation might be malfucntion or damage to the piston ring or malfuncton/ damage of valve seals. Leakege in the oil system is not excluded with a possibility of  malfucntcion of the head  gasket. Using Ceramizer in this situation will not do any harm to the engine but the chances of success are narrowed by the scope of the malfunction/ damage done to the engine. If the overconsumption is caused by normal exploitation Ceramizer® has a much bigger probabbility of eliminating / limitating it.

I have an oil leakage from the engine and gearbox, to which  extent will your products help to bridge them?

If the oil leak is caused by normal exploitation and simply the age of the mechanism, there is a big chance that Ceramizer® might, by the buld-up of the ceramic layer recreate  nominal geometry of metal surfaces in the gearbox ( only manual models) or engine and thus provide for either a smaller leak or completely eliminate it. Ceramizers® are however not oil densifiers and their principle function is not to seal the leaks in the mechanism. That might be one of the positive side-effects.

Does Ceramizer® silence the work of hydraulic tappets?

Causes  of making  noise in the  hydraulic tappets  may be different.Most often, it is the obstruction of calibrated  holes  and inactivation of the automatic adjustment of  backlashes . Itis impossible to predict 100% improvement, because after all, the Ceramizer® formulat also comprises deposit dissolving components , therefore  whether the unblocking of  small holes will be successful, it cannot be verified theoretically, beforehand,  as each case is different.If the reason is wear and tear of the tappets' cooperation surface, then Ceramizer® will most probably be effective already after one dosage.

Is the oil type important in case of using Ceramizers® (synthetic, semi-synthetic, mineral)?

Type of oil does not matter. It does not affect the effectiveness of ceramization.

Can I use Ceramizers® for Diesel engines? ( TDI, GDI, HDI), lpg engines? Does the number of cylinders count?

You can use Ceramizers® in every type of mechanical engine with any number of cylinders.


If I recently made a thorough repair of the engine: all piston rings exchanged,valve sealants exchanged,head skimming, when is it optimal to use Ceramizers®?

At least 3-5 thousand kilometers after having made the repairs.

Can I use Ceramizer® in vehicles equipped with DPF / FAP?

A diesel particulate filter (or DPF/FAP) is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine.  Ceramizer® does not change the rheological parameters of oil and does not generate soot particles, sulphated ash or phosphporus ,. therefore, does not affect the DPF / FAP and can be safely used in the engines with DPF / FAP.

Has Ceramizer® impact on the state of the turbine ever been tested ?

Ceramizer® has an indirect influence on the turbocharger. Ceramizer® acts on bearings that are integral part of the turbocharging system and thus enhances the efficiency of the turbine.

The website is constantly repeating the subjects of pistons, rings and cylinders. What is the situation in the case of bearings, camshaft and timing chain with hydraulic tensioner.

Yes, because in case of these three elements occur most spectacular changes, it is therefore possible to verify the effectiveness of the product, even without the use of  specialistic instruments.  In the case of bearing shells ceramization occurs as well but its effects are less spectacular ( thinner layer on shells made of  soft metals). As for the timing chain, ceramization occurs in that mechanism to a similar extent as in the previously described mechanism and covers all elements of it that are prone to fricton.

I drive a car with a  mileage of 170 thousand km. Is the use of liquid"auto flush" to clean the engine before using Ceramizer® recommended and will it affect its results in any way?

The basis of ceramization technology is the process of creating a layer of ceramic-metal during the operation of the car, so  for the full effect you have to wait a bit, but as for the engine flush to be used before, it will not have any influence whatsoever on the efficiency of Ceramizer®.

I bought a used Sierra 2.0 DOHC gas and after driving 2000km car began to exhaust  blue smoke. The oil for the time being will not be changedge. Ceramizer® will help or not?

Blue smoke is usually a  sign of oil overburn. It is however hard to determine the cause of it. It can be due to the malfuncton of the ring, the gasket or the intake valve. It is recommended to check the compression pressure and do an oil test to try to establish how serious is the reason of the oil overburn. Ceramizer® may help in this case, if the oil overburn is caused only by exploitaton of the vehicle- not by mechanical damage.

Questions about applications in gearboxes or axles

How Ceramizer® affects the synchronizers in the gearbox?

Steel friction surfaces of the synchromesh are coated with molybdenum most commonly (in order to increase their service life). During operation with extremely frequent and vigorous shifting and  with too much force - these surfaces are damaged (erasure), which results in turn in  the difficulty in velocity alignment  when changing gear Ceramizer® works by restoring that layer (although not molybdenum, but with similar properties) which is wear-resistant and in addition very durable and hard - consequently improving functions of synchronizers. The regeneration process , however, only occurs when the wear processes are not exceeding limits and there wasn't any  damage to the permanent elements of the mechanism.

If I have a  damaged synchronizer... Ceramizer® will help me?

It depends on the kind of damage. If this is the loss of the protective layer (generally molybdenum) it will help, but if they are permanently damaged not due to conventional exploitation – then probably nothing but repair will help.

The information about Ceramizers® is that they are not recommended for use in automatic transmissions. I have a scooter with an automatic gear box, if I can use a security Ceramizer®?

In the construction of a motorcycle drive system usually  dry automatic transmissions are used,  which have no contact with the oil. In these mechanisms (which are not in contact with the oil) Ceramizer® application is not possible. Ceramization technology requires oil as a carrier of Ceramizer® particles and metal particles. Nevertheless it is recommended to use Ceramizer® for engines of  scooters.

Can I use Ceramizer® in limited slip differential gearboxes ( LSD)?

It depends on the design of the mechanism  (constructionwise), If there are metal to metal friction pairs Ceramizer® will have the possibility to act. To be sure please check with the OEM instruction.

Can I use Ceramizer®  to gearbox with “Torsen” differential  type?

In the transmission mechanism “Torsen”- it is  not recommended to use Ceramizers®. That could result in the deregulation of the transmission caused by the change in the coefficient of friction in the mechanism

What is difference between Ceramizer® for the engines and Ceramizer® for the gearbox?

The difference lies in the composition of additives and their basic component. We do not recommend to use products for mechanisms they are not destined for.

Questions about applications in motorcycles and scooters

Can Ceramizer® be applied to the engine, which is lubricated  together with the gearbox and clutch in the motorcycle and which product should I apply?

There are no contraindications to the use of Ceramizers® for engines with common gearbox lubrication system.  It is however best to use the product  intended for motorcycles- Ceramizer CM.

How does Ceramizer CP acutally work?

On the contrary to all other Ceramizers for engine, gearbox, power steering, CP is a fuel system purifier and fuel quality enhancer. Its main function is the purification from soot and fuel residue . CP also helps consume fuel more effectively by making it more calorific ( enriching it).
